Do you have any RV travel trailers for sale right now?

Possibly! Please check INVENTORY FOR SALE.  At this time, we are working on client RVs, and our own “flips.” Working directly with clients gives us the ability to renovate an RV in a way that best meets their desires for their RV. Can you help me find an RV Travel Trailer?

At this time we are not able to dedicate the time and focus it takes to help clients locate and negotiate the purchase of a used RV for renovation. The market for used RVs is very active so we suggest having your finances all in order to be ready to make the purchase quickly just as soon as you find the perfect camper for your travel adventures!

Do you sell Forge and Trek original RVs out of state?

Yes, we require a deposit at the signing of the contract and allow 3 business days for customers to wire us the deposit. We do not offer financing and are unable to hold the RV if you do not already have financing arranged.

If I own my own travel trailer or RV, will you renovate it?

Yes! Client owned RV Renovations are our speciality. Forge and Trek renovation services (Gold Package) start at $28,000 for up to 24' and ~$1,000 per foot beyond that for a standard pull-behind trailer with no slides. This pricing will adjust for RVs with features including slides, excessive cabinets, ceiling renovation/update, etc..  So this is just a baseline price for a standard pull behind trailer.  We offer many upgraded packages (Platinum & Diamond) on a case - by - case basis which would love to talk through with you if interested. Please note that we only offer full Interior RV renovations and cannot jump in on a project that has already been started. If you'd like to be added to our list, contact us HERE. 

What should I budget to purchase a used RV travel trailer and have Forge and Trek renovate its interior?

Expect to budget at least $40,000 for a renovated travel trailer, and $50,000 for a fifth wheel. 

Do you renovate class A & C motorhomes?

Absolutely! Forge and Trek renovations for Class A motorhomes start at $50,000 for a full renovation of the entire interior living space. Class C motorhomes start at $40,000. 

Do you purchase RV’s and renovate them for clients or do we have to find it?

We work directly with clients to design and build their dream RV travel trailer, we also offer a small number of one-of-a-kind, Forge & Trek original trailer renovations we've completed according to our own design plans. Please check out our INVENTORY FOR SALE.

Do your RV’s come decorated?

The price of the “Forge and Trek original” RV’s includes the furnishings, bedding, some throw pillows but not all decor. Some decor can be purchased on a separate invoice, just talk to us.

Do you fix damaged RV’s? 

We are not a repair shop. We do custom renovations to already livable travel trailers. We do renovations, NOT repairs. Our agreement requires that our clients turn their RVs over to us with insurance and a certificate or letter from their local RV service shop stating that the RV is in proper livable condition.

Do you finance for RVs? How do you recommend getting a loan?

We are happy to work with your lenders if you are financing an RV and the renovation.  It is best if you already have this process started before starting the buying process with us. We do not offer any financing.You must have the financing secured and in place before Forge and Trek  will begin renovation. 

Do I need Insurance on my RV?

Yes! Although we maintain appropriate garage insurance, we require a copy of your insurance coverage from your personal insurance carrier

How long does a renovation take? 

A full Forge and Trek renovation can take anywhere between 10 - 12 weeks, depending on the type of renovation, size, needs, etc. 

If I have a trailer, can you just give me guidance on where to start?

Sure! CONTACT US.  Design consultations start at $75.00 per ½ hour (30 minutes), We love to chat about RV renovations, and share our ideas, tricks and tips. We do not consult on the business side of renovating.

How do you install flooring? Can you share with me how I can do it in my trailer?

Every trailer and RV is different and we cannot just give a basic tell all on how to install flooring. We tend to use specialized click-and-lock flooring. 

Where do you purchase items for the trailer renovations?

We source from numerous vetted suppliers to find the perfect items for each of our renovations.

Where are you located and where do you do your renovations

We are located in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies. Based in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. We do all of our renovations in our dedicated shop between Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado. Your RV must be able to be dropped off or delivered to our shop in Colorado.

Do you do all of the work or do you hire out?

All Forge and Trek renovations are done by the Forge and Trek Team.
